Little Friends Childcare opened their doors in September 1988. When my personal daycare moved away I was faced with finding another Childcare which proved to be a challenge. So, I personally understand what each parent feels likes when looking for childcare. After trying a couple childcares out and not meeting up to my expectations I decided to open my own childcare. I have to say it has been a blessing. My own children are grown and now I have grandchildren. I love my childcare families, they are an extension of my own family and I plan on doing this for several more years to come.

I am certified with the State of Oregon. I have been in the childcare business since September 1988. I am current with my CPR training and First Aid training. I have a food handlers’ card. I am a level 2 Gem Provider through Metro Childcare Resources and Referrals. I am also working on my Professional Development Register (PDR) with the State of Oregon. (currently working on level 8) I am currently taking 20+ hours per year in Child development classes and currently have over 300 hours. I am a member of PRO (Provider Resource Organization). I currently attend and participate in numerous childcare workshops, national and local childcare conferences, seminars, and various other childcare related activities to enhance both my knowledge and my childcare program
